My wife and I moved from Bulgaria to the U.S. in 2004. I hold two real estate licenses, one with the state of  Illinois since 2012, and one with the state of Wisconsin since 2021. I graduated from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, with a master’s degree in engineering. I started as an investor in real estate and quickly realized a real estate license is a big plus and the way to go. The real estate business gives you opportunities to meet and work with many different people on a daily basis, which makes it very unique and challenging at the same time.
